This is a large campground with many full time sites. This made wandering around interesting. I enjoyed seeing how the full timers decorated their homes. It was very crowded, but the campers were polite and considerate. There are two swimming areas, a lake and a large pool.

This is a charming little campground. The creek is beautiful and I saw several children enjoying a "tubing run." The sites were level and the trees and the sound of running water made it a relaxing stop. The town of Edinburg is a short walk away and there are shops and cafes, as well as some beautiful older homes with well kept gardens to look at. This would be a good spot to use as as a home base for exploration of Northeast Virginia.

The campground was shady and well kept, but many sites were not level and we had to drive around looking for one that would require a minimum of adjustment since we were only going to be there one night.

We travel between Florida and Tennessee four or five times each year, and always stay here. This park is perfect for an overnight stay. It is close to I-95, very easy to get into, has large, level pull-through sites and a dog park. It is stressfree camping after a long day's drive. The wooded atmoshere is a plus.Several restaurants are closeby if eating out is desired.

This is an attractive park on a lovely lake. However the sites were difficult to navigate, We were in a 38' fifth wheel and ended up parking in the large lakefront lot and walking around trying to find a site that we could back into. They claim to have pull throughs, but I didn't see any. If you have a smaller RV and can get here early in the afternoon ( no reservations), this would be a nice place to spend some time.

This is a beautiful park with heavily wooded sites, bike and hiking trails and a beach within walking distance. Most of the sites are easy to access. We bring our truck camper here because the large number of tress make navigating a large RV difficult. That said, I see larger motorhomes and fifth wheels there. We have camped here 4 times in the last 2 years and have enjoyed it every time. I have noticed some rowdy tent campers on weekends, but for the most part the camp is quiet.

We live in Orlando and this is a perfect quick getaway. Wooded sites, firepits, picnic tables all contribute to making this a nice camping experience for our family. I would not want to try and stay here in the summer ( shade means mosquitos) and we don't take our ffith wheel there because the trees make the sites tight.

We spend a week here in March or April, and keep coming back. We reserve a site that allows us to anchor our boat right behind our site. The sites are level and the CG is surrounded by water. There is a small island connected to the CG which is nice for hiking or swimming. Negatives - it would be hot in the summer (no shade) and one of the bathhouses is in need of updating.
